N C (Spence) Spencer – Obituary

N C (Spence) Spencer, 87, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015, at The Meadows in Fulton after an extended illness. He was born March 13, 1928 to the late N C Spencer Sr. and the late Trillia Cummings Spencer. He worked as an union carpenter in the Waukegan, IL area and also for Itawamba/Lee counties. He served as a Naval Seaman First Class and served on the USS Chukawan (AO-100). He was a WWII Veteran. He was a member of First Baptist Church and an avid Ole Miss Rebel fan.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Ellaween Spencer of Fulton, Daughters: Sandy (Thomas) Pasiewicz of Fulton, and Joan (Marty) Grasswick of Wadsworth, IL; Son, Randy (Mathinee) Spencer of Fulton, Grandsons: Matthew (Anne) Pasiewicz, Marc (Kate) Grasswick, Michael Grasswick, Samuel Spencer, Granddaughters: Laura (Baden) Honeycutt, Loren Spencer, Miah Spencer, and Lydia Spencer: Great-grandchildren: Hannah, Nick, Ella Beth, and Brody; Brothers: Billy (Shelby) Spencer and Guyther (JoAnn) Spencer; Sister, Jennie Vee (Wayne) Grissom.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers are Ken Bishop, Ron Phillips, Randy Reich, Gary Barnes, Dale Blaylock, and Jerry Farris.
