Albertville Funeral Home announces the death of Otto Leroy Striebel, “Junior”, age 69 of Albertville, Who passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Hospice of Marshall County, Shepherd’s Cove. He was born in Missouri to Otto Leroy Striebel Sr. and Blanche Striebel. He grew up in Hawk Point, Missouri and moved to Okeechobee, FL in 1970. He owned and operated Striebel Auto Sales with his wife, Jessie Striebel. They relocated to Albertville,AL in 2005. He was an antique collector. He was a member of the Boaz Mason’s Lodge #546, a member of Gadsden York Rite Masons, a member of the Cahaba Shriners, and a 32nd Degree in the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. Most of all he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Juniour was preceded in death by his parents Otto Leroy Striebel Sr. and Blanche Striebel. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Jessie Wilson Striebel of Albertville, Alabama; children, Jeffery Striebel (Rita) of Okeechobee, Lynn Smith (O.J.) of New York, Gregory Striebel (Dhana) of Okeechobee, Amanda Douglas (Wayne) of Vero Beach, Angela Stewart (George) of Port Wentworth, Georgia, Karen Varnadoe (Jeff) of Okeechobee and Michelle Palacios (Wilfrido) of Albertville, Alabama; 18 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Richard Proffitt (Aletha) of Missouri and Jim Striebel (Sandy) of Missouri; sisters, Betty Daniels, Nell Williams and Myrna (David) Wiss of Missouri; mother-in-law, Bettye Wilson of Boaz, Alabama; brother-in-law, Jeffrey Wilson of Boaz, Alabama; many nieces and nephews; and several dear friends.

Funeral Services will be 11:00Am Saturday, December 5, 2015
