The family of Star Averell (Benson) Freeman, age 74, of Decatur, will receive friends on Friday, December 4, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel.
Ms. Freeman, who died Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at Huntsville Hospital’s Madison Campus, was born July 20, 1941, in California, to Albert Benson and Star Knight Benson.
She is survived by two sons, William Freeman of Madison, MS, and Thomas Freeman of Danville, AL; and two daughters, Star C. Freeman of Battleboro, VT, and Deborah Shelton of Decatur, AL.
