Donald Edwin Wynkoop age 87 of Athens, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015 at Athens Rehab and Senior Care. Mr. Wynkoop was born October 16, 1928 in Winchester, TN to Lawrence Wynkoop and Evelyn Bjerke Wymkoop.

Mr. Wynkoop was a Veteran of the United States Marines where he was a Corporal and served in World War II. His hobbies included golf, tennis, hunting, fishing, skeet shooting and a Honey Doo Expert.
Preceded in death by one son, Brian Keith Wynkoop.
Survived by his wife, Marion Larsen Wynkoop of Athens; one son, Bruce Wynkoop and wife, Michele of Madison; one daughter, Cynthia Wymkoop of Athens; one grandson, Brian M. White.
