Funeral service for Artie East, 58, of Somerville will be Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Pearl Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. East, who died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015 at her residence, was born Feb. 26, 1957, in Morgan County to James Butler Dempsey and Katherine Allred Dempsey. She was a homemaker. Her parents preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Randall East; two sons, Jeremy East and Adam East, both of Somerville; one daughter, Diane East Hopper of Somerville; one brother, Jesse Dempsey of Somerville; one sister, Debbie Stewart of Somerville; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jon East, Jerry Hamilton, Jeremy Esco, Jamie Dempsey, Johnathan Brooks and Mike East.
