Evelyn Geraldine Nix, 82, of Tuscumbia, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at Cottage of the Shoals.
Mrs. Nix was a native of Franklin County, Alabama, and a member of Gravel Hill Baptist Church, Phil Campbell.
The funeral service will be Sunday, November 29, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Shady Grove Cemetery, Phil Campbell. Officiating will be James McCullar. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 28, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Survivors include children, Theresa M. Campbell (Horace), Dale Nix (Shirley) and Craig A. Nix (Angela); four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Zan and Nellie Mae Lawler; husband, A.C. Nix; eight brothers and sisters.
