Funeral service for Frances Jean Wallace, age 78, of Decatur, will be Saturday, November 28, 2015, 10:00 a.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Posey officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Shaw Cemetery.
Mrs. Wallace, who died Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Huntsville Hospital, was born August 9, 1937, in Alabama, to Floyd Scott and Lizzie Bell Dickens Scott.
She is survived by her husband, John Wallace of Decatur; one son, Rick Wallace (Sheila) of Decatur; three daughters, Deedra Ludvigson (Douglas) of Georgia, Kim Smith of Decatur, and Anita Holt (Vic) of Hartselle; two sisters, Annie Glenn Fletcher of Muscle Shoals, and Mary Beck of Hatton; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Scott Beck, Blake Beck, Jordan Beck, D. J. Ludvigson, Dustin Ludvigson, and Vic Holt.
