Funeral for Eddie Mae Melson Whitlock, 92, of Moulton will be Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Bryant officiating. Burial will be in Alexander Wilburn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Whitlock, who died Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015 at her residence, was born Oct. 26, 1923, in Moulton to George Harey Melson and Nancy Jane McVay Melson. She worked in the dietary department at Lawrence County Hospital. She was a member of Aldridge Grove Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Gary Clifford Whitlock and brothers and sisters.
Survivors include one son, Steve Whitlock of Moulton; one daughter, Becky Oliver (Buddy) of Moulton; one brother, Arnold Melson of Danville; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
