Gladys Erline Adams, 90, of Decatur, died Thursday at her residence. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Bobby Marks officiating, burial in Sandlin Cemetery. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. today at Spry Funeral Home. Mrs. Adams was born July 29, 1925, in Limestone County. She was a member of the Methodist Church and she was a homemaker. Survivors include daughter, Martha Cooper, of Decatur; son, Vernon Adams and wife Laura, of Decatur; sisters, Lois Glass and husband, Mannon, of Athens, Everne Black, of Hartselle, Cynetha Leicher and husband, Richard, of Athens; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Preceded in death by husband, James (JB) Adams; son-in-law, George Cooper; daughter, Wanda Lucille Adams; parents, Lakin and Beulah Tucker; brothers, Roy Tucker and Marvin Tucker. Memorials may be made to Music & Memory, c/o Mental Health Association or Hospice of the Valley.
