Mrs. Elizabeth M. Crowder, 99, of Florence passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015 at her residence, with her family by her side.
Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Greenview Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2015 in Greenview Memorial Chapel with burial to follow in Florence City Cemetery. Officiating at the service will be Kenneth Davis, Bryan Giselbach and Mike Irons.
Mrs. Crowder was preceded in death by her first husband, Lee Harrison of Amory, Mississippi and her husband Carl Lemay Crowder; parents, Charles and Louisa Hollimon; brother, Bud Hollimon; 8 sisters, Irene Richards, Pearl Pruitt, Annie Mae Thompson, Flora Pruitt, Mildred Irons, Estelle Perkins, Edith Clanton and Mattie Hollimon.
Survivors include her daughter Ann Hart (Marty) of Killen; sons, Thomas Harrison (Eloise) and Buddy Harrison (Janice) both of Amory, Miss; sister, Wanda Risner of Mechanicville, VA; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 14 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Pallbearers will be James Senn, JC Stewart, Benford Masterson, Tommy Morson, Pud Harrison, Greg Hamm, Darin Smith and Tim Melson.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. William Hobbs, John Young and Steve Howell. The family would like to give an extra special thank you to the Hospice of North Alabama and to nurse Anna and Bath Aide Ko-ko for loving and taking such good care of her.
