Harvell Anderson Heard, 84 of Ardmore, Alabama died on Thursday, November 12, 2015, at his home.
Born Wednesday, February 4, 1931 in Toney, Alabama, he was the son of the late Murphy Heard and the late Gracie Broadway Heard. He was lifelong resident of the Toney/Ardmore area. He enjoyed sharpening knives and cattle farming.
Surviving are sisters, Marjorie Jones of Fayetteville, TN and Kathyleen Marberry of Ardmore, AL and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 16, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Pastor Glenis Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, November 15, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
