Javis Shontez Madden aka “Tez”
DECATUR-The Decatur Police Department has issued a BOLO on an unknown suspect in a robbery. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous:
“SYNOPSIS OF OFFENSE & ARREST: On November 6, 2015 at approximately 2:15 AM, the Raceway convenience store located at 2331 AL Highway 20 was robbed. The suspect was black male who looks to be in his mid to late 30’s approximately 5’10-6’00 and 165-175 lbs. The suspect was armed with a small caliber black semi-automatic handgun.
UPDATE: Decatur Police published a picture of the suspect for release to the media. Multiple people called identifying the robber as
Madden is wanted by DPD for the robbery. Earlier this date, Detectives and Officers from Decatur Police, Hillsboro Police and the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department attempted to find Madden at his residence. He previously fled from the scene and is considered to be on the run from authorities.
If anyone has information about where Madden is located, please contact your local Law Enforcement Agency.
