Lyle Alan Stanley, 68, of Woodstock, GA, passed away Friday October 30, 2015. Visitation for Mr. Stanley will be today, November 3, 2015, from 3 to 8 p.m. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2015, in Westover Memorial Park, 2601 Wheeler Road Augusta, GA 30904. Reverend Bryant Brown will officiate.
Mr. Stanley was an alumnus of the University of Iowa and a loyal Iowa Hawkeye fan and an avid golfer.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Robb) Huffman, Smyrna, GA; mother, Ruth Stanley, Oskaloosa, IA; sister, Lynn Conger, Temple, TX; granddaughter, Scarlett Huffman; niece, Bobbi Stewart and family, Temple, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife of 31 years, Dr. Ann Stanley.
