Rita Petrick Jose, 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Timothy Jose. Mrs. Jose was a former member of the Chrysler Women’s Club, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Not Dead Yet Red Hatters Club, Oak Park Garden Club, and the 2005-2006 Silver-Haired Legislators. Survivors include sons, Mitchell, Kevin (Melissa), and Kurt Jose; daughters, Christine Jose, Lisa Jose, and Tammy Bigger (Jeff), all of Huntsville, AL; and six grandchildren, Ashley and Dominic Thielen, Morgan and Garrett Jose, Olivia Jose, and Corey Peck. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, at Berryhill Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 p.m. Pastor Keith Lorick will be officiating. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
