Marcia Jane Ritt Waites, 82, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday. Marcia was born in Racine, WI to Arthur Carl and Fannie Belle McKenna Ritt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lynwood Waites who was born in Birmingham, AL. She received a BS degree in Applied Art from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Arts Education degree from Peabody College of Vanderbilt University.
Survivors include daughters, Lindy Ann Waites of Madison, WI and Elizabeth ‘Putt’ Ann Waites of Huntsville; brother, Jack A. Ritt (Janice) of Menifee, CA; brother-in-law, C. Byron Waites (Beverly) of Columbia, SC; and several nieces and nephews.
No services are planned.
