Jennie L. Williams, nee Simpson of Channahon, IL, formerly of Sardis, TN passed away peacefully on October 23, 2015 at the age of 82.
Married for 45 years to the love of her life W. G. Williams (Mickey) who preceded her in death and raised five children together, she retired from Zenith Electronics.
Loving mother of Shirley Coots (Jack), Debbie Garcia both of Channahon, IL, Rodney Williams (Maureen) of Indiana, Russell Williams of TN, Mike Williams of IL, and Hank Williams (preceded in death).
Sweetest Grandma to 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. A special thank you to Jennie, Patty, and Stacy, who gave extra love and care.
She leaves her siblings Annie Mae, Mary, Shirley, Sam, J.D., and Buddy all of TN and lots of nieces and nephews.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, reading, watching the Cubs, playing cards and bingo. She especially loved her ice cream and country music. She will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill beginning at 11 AM. Funeral service will be Sunday, November 1, 2015 at 2 PM, in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery.
