LAGRANGE-A Colbert County man was killed Thursday afternoon , October 15 when his motorcycle crashed in a curve on Lagrange Road, according to State Troopers. The accident occurred at 5:24 p.m. in the 3600 block of Lagrange Road.
The victim has been identified as James Maddox , 66 of Muscle Shoals.
He was pronounce dead at the scene due to massive head and chest trauma according to the Colbert County Coroner.
It appears that Maddox lost control of his motorcycle while coming into a curve and was thrown from the vehicle where he succumbed to his injuries.
The accident remains under investigation by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Quad-Cities State Troopers Post.
