Lucky David Brown, age 89, of Tuscumbia, AL., passed away on Monday, October 12, 2015. Graveside service will be Friday, October 16, 2015 at 11:00 am in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Pastor Christopher Biernacki, of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Mr. Brown served in World War II and the Korean War. He received a purple heart and bronze star in service to his country. He retired from Ford Motor Company and Chrysler Corporation.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by wife, Anna L. Pendergrass; parents, Oscar and Ethel Brown.
Survivors are son, David Brown (Rhonda); daughter, Sonya Brown Witt (Mike); grandchildren, Aaron Brown, Patrick Witt, Micah Witt.
Pallbearers will be Micah Witt, Patrick Witt and other family members. Honorary pallbearer will be Aaron Brown.
In lieu of flowers, family request that donations be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church.
