Vera Mae White Futch, 93, of Ardmore, TN, went to be with the Lord Sunday. Mrs. Futch was born in Huntsville, AL and lived in Sarasota for 40 years. She was a member of the Church of Nativity and worked at the Department of Defense as Director of Procurement and Production for 25 years. Mrs. Futch was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ralph Futch and a daughter, Marsha Futch Sluga.
Survivors include daughter, Pamela Futch Garner (Tim); grandchildren, Jon Russell Pross, Jr. (Kasia), William Thomas Pross, Erin Pross Magee (D.J.), and Ashley Vann Kingston; great-grandchildren, Nathan Hass, Allie Kingston, Ty Magee, Dylan Magee, and Jordan and David Pross; sister, Evelyn Hanna; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lincoln Memorial Home Health and Hospice of Fayetteville, TN.
