Dorothy J. “Dot” Henry, age 80, of Tuscumbia died Friday, October 02, 2015.
Visitation will be Sunday, 1:30-3:30 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia.
Her funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Bob Plunket and J. T. Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Dot was a native of Lawrence County and was retired from the Colbert County Probate Judge’s office where she served the citizens of Colbert County for thirty plus years. She was a member of Colbert Heights Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; Elbert and Minnie Holderfield; brothers, Frank Holderfield, Elbert Holderfield Jr., Paul Holderfield and Edward Holderfield; sisters, Nita Townsend, Lottie Wiedemeyer, Patricia Holderfield and Barbara Williamson.
Survivors include her husband; Mathis Henry, son; Roger Henry and wife Vicki of Tuscumbia, daughter; Cheryl Howard of Tuscumbia, grandchildren; Matthew Henry and wife Trish of Florence, Amanda McDaniel and husband Mike of Panama City Beach, FL, and Tiffany Holt and husband Chris of Florence, six great-grandchildren; Hannah, Holli, Houston, Grace Ann, Jackson and Cotton.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
