dwainDwain Richard Cooper, 59 of Madison, formerly of Addison, entered into rest on Monday, September 28, 2015 in Birmingham.

Dwain was born on March 22, 1956 in Arley, Alabama. He graduated from Addison High School in 1974 and spent his career as a dance instructor. Dwain was a very artistic person and loved working in his flower garden.

A private graveside service will be held on a later date.

Dwain was survived by his sisters, Annette (Lee) Ragland, Phillis (Jimmy) Jackson, Rita (Frankie) Sutherland, Melissa (Randy) Coots and Christine Cooper; 17 nieces and nephews; 18 great nieces and nephews; and 6 great, great nieces and nephews. He was also blessed with many friends and students.

He was preceded in death by his parents, L.W. and Gladys Cleghorn Cooper; brother, Dwen Cooper and sister, Janice Burleson.
