George Ardelean, 89, of Huntsville, passed away Thursday. Mr. Ardelean was a World War II Navy veteran, and a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Mary Lou Zaranka Ardelean; children, Elizabeth Stropki (John) of Solon, OH, James Ardelean (Cheryl) of Columbus, OH, L. Jeanne Flaherty (James) of Thousand Oaks, CA, Judy Berkowitz (David) of Huntsville, and George M. Ardelean (Paula) of Madison, MS; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brother, Ted Ardelean of Sarasota, FL.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will immediately follow at the church with Father Louis Giardino and Father Phil O’Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
