Funeral service for Hazel Beatrice Johnson , age 78 , of Decatur, will be Friday , September 25, 2015, 12 :00 Noon at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jackie Kay officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 25 , 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Chapel Interment will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Johnson, who died Thursday, September 24 , 2015, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born , in Lawrence County , to Robert and Addie (Peppers) Coleman. She was preceded in death by, her husband Edward Johnson and Granddaughter Stephine Johnson.
She is survived by one son Robert Allen Johnson (Leona) Decatur, one daughter Cecelia Davis (Eddie) Decatur, brother Larry Coleman of Neal, sister Ann Carpenter Memphis, TN, five Grandchildren Chris Johnson, Nicholas Davis, Amanda Johnson, Jessica Johnson, Erica Allen, four Great-Grandchildren Mason, Carter, Hayden and Coraline.
Pallbearers will be Chris Johnson, Jeremy Patterson, Nick Davis, Andy Johnson, Brandon Motes and Johnny Kirby.
