Ida Sue Thurman White, age 91, passed away Monday, Sept. 21, 2015. A graveside service will be today, 2 p.m., in Colbert Memorial Gardens with Brother Barrett Long officiating.
Ida was born April 29, 1924, in Rogersville, Tennessee, and was a member of First Baptist Church, Tuscumbia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace G. “Pete” White.
Survivors include her son, Lionel White and wife, Sandra, of Huntsville; three stepgrandchildren, Alan Lash (Nickie), of Huntsville, Lorrie Cook (Craig), of Birmingham, and Tina Riley, of Huntsville, five stepgreat-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or First Baptist Church of Tuscumbia.
