Timothy-Mckelvey-1442311238Timothy Franklin McKelvey 52, of Prattville was born May 29, 1963 died Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Thursday Sept. 17, 2015 at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. Wayne Green will officiate.
Tim was a native of Lauderdale Co., AL. He entered the Army Reserve in high school soon after he entered the Navy which led to a sailor’s life afterward he worked for Oceaneering; going on a deep sea search and recovery vessel the “Performer.” He traveled the world. In his later years he worked as a millwright.
He is survived by his mother Ann Fowler McKelvey, his brothers Tony (Cindy) McKelvey of Oakland and Ted (Dana) McKelvey of Decatur; daughter Katelyn McKelvey; grandchild Pearly (Brett) Darty ; four nieces and two nephews.
He was loved by his many friends and family members. He will remain in our hearts and memories forever. Yesterday is never gone with memories to look back on.
