Luella June Rathjen, nee Gabauer, lovingly known as June, age 94, of Killen, Alabama
passed away September 13, 2015. Funeral services will be in Brush, Colorado.
June was born in Akron, Colorado on October 17, 1920, to August and Nellie Gebauer.
She had five sisters and one brother. She was a long-time resident of Draper, Utah. She
will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her interests were
quilting, embroidery and sewing custom-made drapes.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Milford Henry Rathjen, and son Larry Ray Rathjen.
Survivors are a son, Mildford Randall Rathjen of St. Augustine, Florida, a daughter and
son-in-law Carolyn and Robert Horton of Killen, Alabama, a daughter-in-law Carol
Rathjen of Carson City, NV, 8 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
