Robert Ray Stewart, 84, formerly of Florence, Alabama, passed away Sept. 9, 2015, at Trevecca Health Care, Nashville, Tennessee. He was a member of Wood Avenue Church of Christ and Woodmont Hills Family of God.
Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, from 10 a.m. to noon at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at noon in the funeral home chapel, with Miles Stutts officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian McClure Stewart; sister, Mildred Stewart Bruce; and parents, Oscar and Gladys Richardson Stewart.
He is survived by his son, Roger Neal Stewart; daughter-in-law, Denise Marie Stewart; grandson, Jonathan Adam Stewart; and granddaughter, Logan Marie Stewart.
No flowers please. Memorial donations may be made to National Alliance on Mental Illness Tennessee or Wood Avenue Church of Christ.
