Ray Lynn Chapman, age 90, Haleyville, AL. passed away Saturday September 5, 2015. Ray was born in Culloden, West Virginia the son of the late Cecil and Irma Foster Chapman. He was a retired Farmer.
His visitation will be Tuesday September 8, 2015 from 6:00PM – 9:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home-Haleyville, with his funeral Wednesday September 9, 2015 at 2:00PM in the chapel. Burial in Bear Creek No. 1 Cemetery.
He is survived by his children, Harold Chapman, Jackson Chapman (LaVern), Betty Sigel (Mark), Carol Bewley, Shirley Chapman (Toiya Grimes), Janice Franks (Ed), Don Chapman (Sheila), Steven Chapman (Dianna) and James Chapman (Cecila); brothers and sisters, Harold, Melvin, Shirley, Betty, Marie, Bonnie and Linda; 42 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren and 23 great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Irma Foster; wife, Mary Magdalene Chapman; brothers and sisters, Faye, Ruth, Daniel and Darrel.
