Graveside services for William (Bill) Mitchell of Petersburg, will be conducted Friday, September 4, 2015 at 3 PM in Booneville Cemetery with Bro. Harold Davis officiating. Mr. Mitchell passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015.
Mr. Mitchell was a native of Lincoln County, the son of the late Ellis Sandford and Lena May Perry Mitchell and was a farmer.
Survivors include Step-children Terry Gibson, Teresa Mitchell, Rose Jones of Flintville, Troy Gibson and Mary Fabela, twelve step grandchildren and ten step great-grandchildren, brothers Bernie and Robert Mitchell, sisters Vicky Hale and Sharron Fowler. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann Mitchell and his brother Thomas Mitchell.
There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.
Higgins Funeral Home is assisting the family of Mr. William (Bill) Mitchell.
