Funeral for Sara Jane “Mama Jane” Hamilton, 75, of Moulton will be Saturday, August 29, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Godbee, Rev. Redmond Talley, Rev. Rex Reed and Chris Parker officiating. Burial will be in Smyrna Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hamilton, who died Thursday, August 27, 2015, in Moulton, was born February 17, 1940, to Almon Brown and Lucille Corum Brown. She was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. She enjoyed camping. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Hamilton; two sons, Jimmy Stricklin and David Stricklin; two grandsons, Joey Stricklin and Jeremy Alexander; and two sisters, Mary Sue Cartee and Betty Sue Brown.
Survivors include two sons, Ricky Stricklin (Vanessa) and Colbert Garrett; three daughters, Reba Thrasher (David), Teresa Brooks and Doris Garrett; 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; one brother, Roger Corum (Nancy); and one sister, Betty Richardson (Fred).
She is also survived by her camping family at NACO in Tennessee.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
