Funeral service for James Louis Steele, 82, of Vinemont will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 29th, 2015 at Flint Creek Baptist Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Steele passed away August 26th, 2015 at UAB Hospital. He was born November 8, 1932 to parents, Walker Britton & Ethel Smith Steele.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Dena Steele.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Genevieve Oden Steele; two sons, Britt (Kim) Steele, James Steele; daughter, Donna (Mark) Dailey; five grandchildren, Nick Claburne, B.J. Steele, Anna Steele, Sara Steele, Christina Steele; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday evening at the funeral home from 5:30 – 8 p.m.
