Funeral services for Lynda McAlister Sims Billingsley, age 72 of Smyrna, will be conducted Thursday at 2 PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Irwin officiating. Burial will follow in Sandlin Cemetery. Mrs. Billingsley passed away Monday August 24, 2015 in St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.
A native of Wyandotte, MI, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Raymond and Sadie Milstead McAlister and a member of the River of Life Church.
Survivors include son Frankie (Angela) Sims of Lebanon, TN, two daughters Teresa (Shawn) Whitten of Smyrna, TN, Susan (Max) Stillman of Columbus, MS, grandchildren Brett Stewart, Amanda Sims, Seth (Lyndsey) Stillman and Reed Stillman, brother Ralph McAlister and the father of her children Alton Sims of Fayetteville.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday August 26, 2015 from 5-8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
