Bob Wilbanks, 78, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015. He was a member of Oliver Church of Christ.
Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at 11 a.m. with Daniel Ridinger, Keith Bryan, Matthew Wilbanks, and David O’Connell speaking. Burial will follow in Miller Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Wilbanks, Josh Stinnett, Jeffrey Wilbanks, Shannon Wilbanks, Johnny Wilbanks, Thomas Butler, Willie “Pete” Munn, and Donald Reding; honorary, Mattox Wilbanks, Saxtyn Stinnett, Barry Wilbanks, David Wilbanks, Keith Bryan, John Wilbanks, and Jason Wilbanks.
Mr. Wilbanks was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, JoAnn Wilbanks, parents, Coleman and Mabel Wilbanks, brothers, Harold, Morris, and Jimbo Wilbanks, and nephews, Tim and Ted Butler.
He is survived by his children, Dale (Shelia) Wilbanks, Mary Jo (Wade) Stinnett, and Mark (Kathy) Wilbanks; grandchildren, Justin (Marley) Wilbanks, Josh (Shasta) Stinnett, Jeffrey (Kira) Wilbanks, and Shannon Wilbanks; great-grandchildren, Anna Kate, Mattox, Saxtyn, Saygan, and Adalyn Grace; sisters, Linda Bryan and Enid (Sam) Butler; brother, Johnny (Hazel) Wilbanks; very special sister-in-law, Patsy Wilbanks; beloved pet, Jodie; and a host of nieces and nephews that were as special to him as his own children.
The family would like to thank the loving Davita family who took awesome care of Bob for the last 14 years and to Hospice of Limestone County.
