Jackie Allen Rock, 60, died Monday, August 10, 2015, at the North Mississippi Center after a long battle with cancer. He was born July 18, 1955, to L.D. and Mildred Christian Rock. He grew up in a Baptist home. He was a carpenter and building contractor before his illness. He was an active member in hunting clubs in Itawamba County and enjoyed spending time there with his friends. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Bro. David Perry officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship cemetery in Peppertown. Survivors include his parents, L.D. and Mildred Rock of Mooreville; two brothers, Mike Rock and Kenny Rock (Janet), both of Saltillo; several nieces and nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Rock. Pallbearers will be Michael Rock, Kenny Rock, Jr., Dustin Smith, Carl Glass, Jeremy Stanley, and Dustin Broadway.
