Colbert County Landmarks Foundation Meeting Set For August 16

TUSCUMBIA-The Colbert County Historical Landmarks Foundation, Inc., will hold its summer quarterly membership meeting on Sunday, August 16, 2015, at 2:00 PM, at the Helen Keller Public Library conference room, on Main St. in Tuscumbia.

Program speaker will be Richard Sheridan of Sheffield.

His topic will be the “History of The Old Railroad Bridge in Sheffield, and the recent submission to have it placed on the National Register of Historical Places“.
Mr. Sheridan is the Sheffield City Historian. He is an accomplished historian and author.
