78-Year-Old Man Dies In Car Crash Near Red Bay

RED BAY-A single-vehicle crash at 9:46 a.m. today, August 7, claimed the life of a Red Bay man. Chas Rabon Stockton, 78, was killed when the 2003 Toyota Tundra he was driving left the roadway and overturned.

Stockton, who was not using a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred on Franklin County 11, one mile north of Red Bay.

Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
