Funeral service for Johnny Douglas Kyker, 64, will be Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Segars officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Kyker died on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born May 31, 1951, in Morgan County to George Eugene Kyker and Annie Grace Segars. Mr. Kyker was formerly employed by Wolverine Tube as a shift supervisor and enjoyed overseeing Wolverine Park. He loved to play golf and piddling around outside. He loved Alabama Football and watching the Atlanta Braves. He loved his grandchildren and being a “Papaw”. He was loved by his two great nieces Anissa and Kenadee Henderson. He was preceded in death by his daughter: Joni Faye Kyker, two sisters: Linda Wallace and Margaret Thompson and his parents.
