Funeral service for Joseph Lee Haden, 71, of Trinity will be Sunday, August 2, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Doug Ripley and Rev. Richie Thompson officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends today from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Haden died Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at his residence. He was born December 18, 1943, in California to Joseph Bowen Haden and Ella Mae Semler Haden.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tamara Watts Haden; four sons, Joseph G. Haden (Sheri) and Nathan P. Haden (Rachael), both of Decatur, Seth Winchester of Hartselle and Caleb Winchester of Trinity; two daughters, Elisa McDaniel (Bob) of Decatur and DeShanna Winchester of Hartselle; two sisters, Carol Brown of California and Nancy Wimp of Indiana; and 17 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
