Hazel Brown, 80, died Tuesday at Huntsville Hospital of heart failure.
Hazel was born in Shelbyville, TN, grew up in Huntsville, AL, and graduated from Butler High School.
She is predeceased by her parents, Jonas Madison and Tennessee Pearl Jones, and her brother Lee Jones. Survivors include her husband, Robert “Bobby” Harold Brown; son, John Robert Brown, daughter, Leigh Ann Perkins and husband, Brad; grandchildren, Emma and Jake Perkins; sister, Sheila Cain; and brother, William Jones.
Hazel worked as a Dental Assistant and homemaker before retiring. She was always quick to find the humor and offer a laugh. She was selfless in providing and caring for her family, especially her husband. She also enjoyed reading, checking in with her grandkids, and simply spending time with friends and family.
A private family visitation is planned for Saturday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home.
