Nadine Whitt Bailey, 93 of Ardmore, Alabama died on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in New Market, AL.
Born Tuesday, November 15, 1921 in Hazel Green, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Emmitt Whitt and the late Ella Campbell Whitt. She was a lifelong resident of this area, was a member of Ardmore First Baptist Church and loved Gospel singing, Braves Baseball and arts and crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Herman, Huston, Homer, Grady, and baby Joe, sisters: Josie Mae Smith, Rella Clardy, Catherine Clardy, and Carleen Chandler, her husband: Herman Bailey, son: Homer Donald Bailey, daughter: Glenda Sue Bailey Turner, and an infant daughter: Maxine Bailey.
Surviving are: daughter, Laurene Bailey Schrimsher of Ardmore, TN, Larry Bailey of Ardmore, TN, Billie Rose Bailey Raney of New Market, AL, and Randy Bailey of Madison, AL; grandchildren are: Michael Bailey of Tulsa, OK, Angela Bailey Fussell of Athens, AL, Gina Schrimsher Yarbrough of Athens, AL, Jody Schrimsher of Ardmore, TN, Wayne Bailey of Athens, AL, Keith Bailey of Toney, AL, Robbie Bailey of East Limestone, AL, Chris Turner of Huntsville, AL, Kevin Turner of Hampton Cove, AL, Susan Turner Valez of Hazel Green, AL, Keely Barker of

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM on Friday, July 31, 2015, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. Alan Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
