Michael Woods passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the age of 57. Mike was a native of Moulton Heights, AL. He was affectionately known as Swamp Dog. Mike was a loving father and grandfather.
He is survived by his mother, Gladys Vandiber; four daughters, Kiesha Wiggins, Laura Swopes, Sheneka Wiggins and Maquita Hampton; three sons, Michael Pruitt, Michael Preston and James Michael Swopes; 19 grandchildren and one great-grand- daughter; and special friend, Kim Powers.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, July 25, 2015 at noon at Union Grove Primitive Baptist Church with Dr. George W. Franklin officiating. A time of visitation will be tonight from 6 to 7 at Roselawn Funeral Home.
Mike’s cousins will serve as pallbearers.
