The graveside service for Linda Sue McGrew, age 64, of Decatur, will be Friday, July 17, 2015, at 9 a.m. at Athens City Cemetery with Roger Jenkins officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home.
Ms. McGrew passed away Monday July 13, 2015, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born March 24, 1951, in Sheffield, Alabama, to Herbett Marshall McGrew and Helen Elizabeth Easter McGrew. She worked and retired from 3M in Greenville, South Carolina, Brownwood, Texas, and Atlanta, Georgia. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Decatur. Ms. McGrew is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her sister, Carol Overcamp and husband, John, of Decatur; special friend, Earl Chandler, of Decatur; best friends, Reba Vaughn, of South Carolina, and Kaye Waller, of Decatur.
