Juanita Herston, daughter of William and Tina Benefield, went to her heavenly Father on July 8, 2015. The visitation will be Saturday, July 11, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The service will be at 1 p.m in the chapel, with the burial following in Bluewater Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jerry Herston.
She worked as a nurse for over 30 years. Her caring for others extended long after her hours on the hospital floor. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Family survivors include sister, Shirley McCorkle Orr and the late Clyde Orr; daughter, Melinda (Lindy) and Ricky Williams; sons, Mike and Jeanne Youngblood and Dwayne and Jenny Youngblood; and grandchildren, Lauren Craig, Michelle and Gaylon Partain, Megan Williams, Caitlin Youngblood, Shane and Lauren Youngblood, and Devon Youngblood.
