FLORENCE– The Colbert County Coroners Office released the name of the person who drown in Cypress Creek after falling from a boat. Marie Franklin, 59 from Tuscumbia died on Sunday, July 5 after being taken to the hospital on July 4th.
Franklin was pulled from Cypress Creek on Saturday, July 4th after falling from a boat into Cypress Creek shortly after the conclusion of the Spirit of Freedom Celebration.
