Linda Lingo Creel McIntyre, 61, of Decatur/Holly Pond, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born in Blount County to Jack and Hazel Smith Lingo. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. McIntyre is survived by her son, Shannon Creel; daughter, Shasta Creel; sister, Judy Thomas; and grandchildren, Hunner Creel, Keishaun Creel and Hailee Creel.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. tonight, July 6, 2015, at Holly Pond Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015, in Union Grove Cemetery, Holly Pond. Reverand Hughlen Murphree and W.C. Green officiating. Arrangements by Holly Pond Funeral Home.
