Opal Ann Miller, Age 75, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2015. Visitation will be Monday, July 6, 2015, from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel. The service will be Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at Washington Park Baptist of Muscle Shoals beginning at noon. Mrs. Opal will lie in state from 11 a.m. to noon at the church with burial to follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
She was a faithful charter member of Washington Baptist Church of Muscle Shoals for 40-plus years, volunteer for Homeland Security and an avid Auburn football fan. Opal was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who raised her children and grandchildren who lovingly called her Super Nunna.
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by husband of 58 years, Autry Miller, parents, Clifton and Virgie Rhodes, brother, David Rhodes.
Survivors are sons, Thomas Aubry Miller (Lisa), Samuel “Bubba” Miller; daughters, Melissa Ann Page (Billy), Shelia Willingham, Marsha Dianne Richards (James), and Jennifer Gail Kiser (Ken); brothers, Clifton Rhodes (Pam), Loyad Rhodes (Margrett); sisters, Georgia Wallin, and Barbara Garrett (James); grandchildren, Michael Page (Mary), Heather Williams, Chad Miller, Jessica Newsome, Amy Miller, Kasey Williams (Frankie), Brooke Ann Burgess (Dustin), Kadie Smith (Craig), Madison Miller, Hannah Miller, and Alex Miller; great grandchildren, Austin, Breanna, Cash, Lilie, Briley, Colby, Angel, Hunter, Reese, Anslee, Aubree, Alodee, Acee, Amelia; host of loving nieces and nephews and other family members.
Pallbearers will be Michael Page, Chad Miller, Frankie Williams, Timmy Willingham, Austin Page, Hunter Davis, Samuel Miller, Alex Miller, Billy Page, Ken Kiser, James Richards and Briley Agee.
