Funeral service for Delorice Ann “Tuggy” Hallmark, 74, of Decatur will be Monday, July 6, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Posey officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Hallmark, who died Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at her residence, was born October 24, 1940, in Limestone County to Clarence Clem and Cleo Fox Clem. She was a member of Austinville Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Major Dale E. Hallmark Sr., who was a highly decorated veteran of World War II and Korea, and retired from the U.S. Army after having earned two Bronze Stars, two Purple Hearts, and numerous other awards and citations.
She is survived by six sons, Stuart Hallmark of Panama City Beach, FL, Dale E. Hallmark Jr. of Decatur, Nathan Hallmark of Houston, TX, Mark Hallmark of Franklin, TN, Chance Hallmark of Birmingham and Terry Hallmark of Decatur; one sister, Martha Jones of Ocala, FL; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Her sons will serve as pallbearers.
