Bailey Alexandra Carswell, 20, of Harvest passed away Wednesday. Bailey was a native and lifelong resident of Madison County. She was a graduate of Sparkman High School and was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Huntsville. Survivors include her father: William Edward “Bill” Carswell; her mother: Debbie Bailey Carswell; one brother: Wells Clayton “Clay” Carswell and his wife: April; her grandparents; many aunts and uncles and her beloved cat: Lexie aka: Cat. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Huntsville with Rev. Alice Syltie officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the church. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family. Bailey leaves a legacy of loving, caring and giving, and the world is a better place for her having passed through it. Memorial donations may be made to The Ark Animal Shelter or to the Unitarian Universalist Church of Huntsville.
