Graveside service for Mildred Lucille Holmes, 86, of Somerville will be today, June 20, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Center Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery with Brother Charles Oden officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at her home after graveside.
Mrs. Holmes died Thursday, June 18, 2015, at Decatur Morgan Main. She was born in Morgan County to Granville Sivley and Gertrude Lemmond. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Holmes; three brothers, Rudolph Sivley, Floyd Sivley and James Sivley; and one sister, Clara Stewart.
Pallbearers will be Roger Freeman, Brian Moody, Eli Freeman, Davis Nelms, Billy Parker and Patrick Graydon.
In lieu of flowers and food, please make donations to Children’s Hospital Birmingham or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
