Mr. James B. George, 79, of Fortson, Georgia, died Friday, June 12, 2015 at his residence.
Mr. George is survived by his wife: Sue Abell George of Fortson, Georgia; daughters & sons-in-law: Donna & Mike Floyd of Albertville, Alabama and Anita & Mark Alexander of Columbus, Georgia; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. He joined his mother T.C. Stewart and brother J.C. George in death.
Pallbearers will be Mark Alexander, Brandon Alexander, Michael Floyd, James Whitley, Mike Floyd, and Josh Amos.
There will be a graveside service Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Altoona-Walnut Grove Cemetery. Bro. Jon Henderson officiating.
